- The Registration fee can also be sent by an account payee Demand Draft (DD) in favour of “The Registrar – Annamalai University” payable at Annamalainagar under registered cover to “The Conference Secretary ICIMP-2009, Department of Business Administration, Annamalai University – 608 002, Tamilnadu, INDIA”. Outstation cheque or money order will not be entertained.
Although on the spot registration will be made at an additional fee of 50% (subject to availability), the organizing committee is not bound to provide accommodation to such participants. It is therefore, advisable to get registered within the stipulated time in order to avoid the last minute inconvenience.
Cancellation Policy
Participation fee is non-refundable / non-adjustable against any other programme. However changes in nomination would be accepted.
Accommodation
The organizing committee will provide Guest House / Hotel / Hostel accommodation to the registered participants attending the conference on receipt of request before May 31, 2009. Most of the accommodations will be on sharing basis. Those who wish to stay in hotels are advised to make their own arrangements. Local secretary shall help such participants in hotel reservation.
The paper can have maximum of three authors. By submission, it is implied that one of the authors will enroll for the conference and present the paper. One author can submit maximum of two papers. Certificate will be issued to all the paper presenters.

How to reach
Annamalai Nagar, 2 km away from Chidambaram town is situated in the east-central part of Tamil Nadu state of southeastern India. The nearest airports are Trichy (195 km) and Chennai (245 km). The nearest railway stations are Mayiladuthurai (50 km) and Vridhachalam (60 km). Frequent government and private bus services are available to Chidambaram. The climate of Chidambaram is tropical with mercury touching up to 30º C in July.
Visa
All foreign visitors need visa to visit India. Letter of invitation for visa application will be sent on request after receipt of the registration form. The participants are requested to contact the local Indian Embassy / Consulate for visa details and other requirements.

Paper Submission Format : Conceptual, empirical and applied manuscripts related to the conference theme can be submitted. Manuscripts must be written in English.
Manuscript Format and Style Guide
The entire manuscripts must be spell-checked, double spaced on one side of the paper with sufficient margin of one inch (2.5cm) on all four sides. Font size should be 12 point Times New Roman. Research articles should be no longer than 20 pages.
Constructs and Variables should be identified in words, and not abbreviated.
a. Title Page
Titles should be short, and should be informative even for non-specialists. The first page should contain the title of the paper, plus the names, affiliation and complete addresses, e-mail, phone numbers and fax numbers of all the authors.
b.Abstract
Authors are asked to supply an abstract of not more than 150 words and keywords.
Also, please take care to create a title and an abstract that are direct and ‘reader-friendly’.
c. Keywords Include up to six keywords that describe the paper along with the abstract.
d.Text
The introduction should state clearly the objectives of the paper as well as the motivation and context of the research. The literature review should be limited to the articles, books and other items that have a direct bearing on the topic being addressed. Empirical papers that do not develop new theories or hypotheses are also encouraged. The empirical section should give details of the methodology used.
The conclusion should summarize key findings and state their importance to the field. The first lines of paragraphs, except the first paragraph of the manuscript, should be indented.
Endnotes and footnotes should be avoided. Substantive comments should be integrated within the text rather than placed in a note. References, appendices, tables and figures should be placed at the end of the manuscript.
e. References References should be made only to works that are published, accepted for publication (not merely ‘submitted’), or available through libraries or institutions. Any other source should be qualified by a note regarding availability.
Full reference should include all authors’ names and Initials, date of publication, title of the paper, title of publication (Italics), volume and Issue number (of a journal), publisher and form (books, conference proceedings), page numbers according to the author / date system and listed alphabetically as a separate appendix titled “References” at the end of the manuscript.
Case Study Submission Format : The case study should be unpublished, original and must relate to the real business world. Data and information for the cases should be based on field research or collected from authentic sources such as from the organizations’ published data or from the secondary sources or based on interviews with senior executives with proper citations and references. In case the author uses data from primary sources / executive interview, a formal approval from a senior executive of the company is required. The author should provide such an approval, while submission of the full case.
A case study should normally be of 4,000 to 6,000 words including annexures and must accompany the abstract around 250 words. The entire manuscripts must be spell-checked, double spaced on one side of the paper with sufficient margin of one inch (2.5cm) on all four sides. Font size should be 12 point Times New Roman.
Doctoral Colloquium Submission Format : Research scholars completed doctoral research on or after 01.07.2005 is eligible to present their work. Also on-going research scholars can present their work to get more insight. For the Best Doctoral Award, research work completed and awarded only be considered.
Four Copies of the Abstract / Summary of the Ph.D. theses duly typed in double space must be submitted along with a soft copy in the format of 12 point text single font – Times Roman MS Word. The Abstract / Summary should contain topic of the theses, objectives, research methodology (study, design sample and tools), salient findings and implications of the study.
The Abstract / Summary of the theses should be routed through The Head of the B-School / Institution. The covering letter must be forwarded by the Research Guide.
