Rural Management Association (RMA) 2009 – 2010
- The Rural management Association has been inaugurated by Prof. Dr. M. Ramanathan, Vice-Chancellor, Annamalai University on 06/10/2009 in the presence of Dr. S. Rajendran, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Annamalai University.
- The first meeting of the Rural Management Association was held on 12th October 2009, to discuss the future plan.
- The Second meeting of RMA was held on 23rd oct, 2009 to discuss various issues related to Rural development.
- The third meeting of RMA was held on 5th Nov-2009 to discuss various matters and ideas related to forthcoming semester exams.
- Conducted special classes for the students on English Communicative Skills.
- Conducted special coaching classes for attending competition conducted by various departments.
- Conducted special coaching classes for the students to prepare for Group-II Exams.
Rural Industrial Training Centre (RITC)
- Inaugarated by the Honb’le Vice-Chancellore Prof. Dr.M.Ramanathan on 5th October 2009, to impart the technical and industrial skills to rural youth, rural women, farmers and rural unemployed.
- The Training programme on tailoring and fashion Designing has been conducted to the identified beneficiaries.
- Through RITC, one week training programme on computer skills for rural unemployed in 12 batches has been conducted for self employment.
- For the benefit of rural women, an innovative training programme on fabric printing has been organized and it is inaugurated by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. M.Ramanathan, Annamalai University.
